Roller Shutter Door Installation in Vanderbijlpark

How a roller shutter door installation runs

1. Site survey. We measure the opening, check headroom and side room, look at the structure the guides will fix to, and note the conditions the door will work in.
2. Specification and quote. Door, coating, drive, safety devices and any structural work, priced as separate lines.
3. Manufacture. Built to the measured opening, assembled and cycled in the workshop.
4. Installation. Guides plumbed, barrel levelled, curtain tracked, drive set and tested.
5. Handover. Operation, manual release and maintenance explained to whoever will use it.

Working to plant procedures

Site induction, permits to work, isolation before anything is touched, and hot work controlled where cutting or welding is needed. On a site running hot processes an uncontrolled grinder is not a small matter, and we plan the installation with the plant rather than turning up expecting access.

Installing into a shutdown window

This is how most heavy door work happens here. The window is fixed, it is short, and it does not move. We plan manufacture backwards from your date, have the door on site and checked before the window opens, and staff the job to finish inside it. We would rather decline a shutdown slot than take one we cannot deliver into.

Structural steel around old openings

Much of the industrial stock around the works has been in service for decades, and the steel around an opening has taken a long working life and in places heat. We assess what the guides are going to bolt to at survey and quote the steel repair separately.

Shopfront and retail installations

Fit-out work at Vaal Mall and along the trading streets is done inside the centre’s permitted hours, usually at night. A shop that cannot open loses more in a morning than the door costs.

Residential installations across the zones

Homes across the CW, CE, SW and SE zones, Duncanville and Bedworth Park mostly want garage doors and security shutters over patios and side entrances. Because the housing repeats, we can often quote a second or third property in the same street from photographs once we have measured the first.

Riverside and estate installations

Properties at Vaaloewer, Riverside and the estates along the river want shutters over large glazed openings onto the water. On those we specify the coating for the damp position and set the threshold with an eye on where water goes in a high-release year.
